About Me

I am a second generation Silician-American. My grandparents were from places like Graniti, Franco Villa, Modica and Avola. All these towns are in the eastern part of Sicily, the Caraco Family is from Avola.

This map was a gift from Miranda, my eldest daugther, and displayed in my living room.

The subtitle is a quote was originated by Salvatore L. Caraco, know as Sam, the third in birth order of twelve children born to Joe (Giuseppe) and Rosalia, my father. This motto has become a touchstone for me and my siblings. We are not transactional. We try to do what’s right, what’s positive, leave this world better than found it, without recognition, without compensation.

I am blessed with two amazing daughters who’ve married great men and honored me with one fantastic grandson each.

With regard to my professional life see my profile on bankerslife.com. Insurance and financial services is a forty year life’s work.
